A Delicious St. Patrick's Day Irish Chicken Recipe

Well good old ST. Patrick's day is just around the corner so we have to think about what dish we want to serve. I know I was gonna make the Irish pretzel salad that I wrote about before, but I changed my mind I decided to make something totally different. So I have decided to make a meal that consists of corned beef chicken, a chocolate dessert made with 3 musketeers, potato dish to go with the chicken, and some steamed veggies. Chicken has always been a favorite in our home.

There is so many ways to prepare your chicken to give it a different taste all the time. I learned this chicken recipe from my brother in law. So I tried this recipe out the other day and wow what a wonderful surprise this was.

To make this wonderful chicken dish you will need 1 package of corned beef, 10 chicken breasts, which I prefer boneless and skinned, package of bacon, 1 small can of cream of mushroom soup, and a small container of sour cream. Take a glass dish grease it with butter or for better results use Pam. then grab your corned beef cover the whole bottom of the dish with it. Now clean your chicken, pat dry, place down for a minute and grab your bacon. Wrap your bacon around the chicken very carefully. If you have to secure it with a toothpick. place the chicken now on top of the corned beef. Grab a small bowl mix your soup and sour cream together very well. Mix this for about three minutes or so. Pour this mixture over your chicken bake for 4 hours uncovered at 300 degrees. While this is cooking move on to your potato dish.

This potato dish is very tasty. What you need for this will be around 10 large size potatoes peeled and sliced how you want them, 1 large white onion, 1 can of onion soup, 1/2 teaspoon of parsley flakes, small jar of nacho cheese sauce, salt, pepper, around 6 slices of cooked crumbled bacon, and one cup of celery chopped up very fine. First take your potatoes mix them up in a dish along with your onion, celery, and bacon. Then mix your parsley, salt, and pepper with the soup. When this is mixed well pour this over your potato mixture. Now take the nacho cheese sauce pour on top making sure it's covered pretty good. Bake this at 350 for 1 hour or so until your potatoes are tender. It really depends on your oven.

For your vegetable a great flavor to blend in with this dish would be broccoli mixed in a butter sauce. This dish altogether was really good, where all food in my opinion compliments each other. Now for your dessert you can basically go with anything dealing with chocolate. I chose a dessert made with my husband favorite candy, which is 3 musketeers. For this you will need 2 cans of crescent roll dough, 2 sticks of melted butter, 8 candy bars, and confectioners sugar. Cut your candy bar long ways. Then open your crescent rolls place the melted butter on them. Then place the candy bar into the middle. Now if the candy bar is showing at the ends pinch them together carefully. Bake this at 375 for around 20 minutes or so. Then take out of oven cool down place some cool whip on the top. Enjoy this wonderful meal.
