Five Great Pumpkin Seed Recipes

Here are easy and flavorful roasted pumpkin seed recipes. Pumpkin seeds are healthy for you and taste great.

For all Pumpkin Seed Recipes: 

Thoroughly rinse the pumpkin seeds with cold water. We dump all the seeds in a colander, and then rinse well removing all pulp.

The Standard

Place a layer of aluminum foil on a baking sheet

Spray foil with cooking spray

Spread the seeds in a single layer on the baking sheet.

Sprinkle with Salt if desired.

Bake at 325-350 degrees for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally

Cinnamon Pumpkin Seeds

After spreading the seeds on a baking sheet, sprinkle with salt and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

Bake at 325-350 degrees for 10 min.

Stir the seeds and sprinkle on another 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon and bake 10 more minutes

** Variation, substitute sugar for salt for Cinnamon Sugar Pumpkin Seeds

Cinnamon Spice Pumpkin Seeds

Combine 1 teaspoon cinnamon with 1/2 tsp nutmeg and 1/2 tsp of ground cloves

After spreading the seeds on a baking sheet, sprinkle with 1/2 the seasoning mixture

Bake at 325-350 degrees for 10 min. Stir the seeds and sprinkle the remaining seasoning on, baking 10 more minutes

Combine 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper with 1/2 tsp garlic powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of chili powder

Sweet & Spicy Pumpkin Seeds

Combine 1 teaspoon salt, 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, 1 Tablespoon brown sugar and a few drops of hot pepper sauce in a bowl.

Mix pumpkin seeds into bowl with seasonings, stirring well. Spread pumpkin seeds in a single layer on baking sheet and bake 20 min at 325-350 degrees, stirring as needed.
